MODEL 164

The Model 164 Image Converter streak camera is useful for capturing the dynamics of light signals at very fast rates. It is configured with a streak tube that has an integrated MCP, allowing for the amplification of the signal to happen while still in the electron state, thereby increasing signal to noise significantly. The output is coupled to a 12 bit, 4 megapixel CCD readout, so that no image information is lost in the readout stage.
